Misalliance Repertory Theatre has premiered its debut production, starring Matt as a wealthy Parliamentarian bumbling his way through a scandal and falling in love with a voracious concert pianist along the way in G.B. Shaw’s facetious musical comedy, The Music Cure.
As a founding member of Misalliance Rep, Matt has been developing this production with his former ShawChicago cohorts for nearly a year. With a cast of Shaw favorites and a superb piano score provided by Tom Bachtell, The Music Cure is a silly, auditory delight that received raves from Chicago’s Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel.
